PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF JERSEY CITY
The City Council of the City of Jersey City will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 23 at 6:00 P.M in the Anna & Anthony R. Cucci Memorial Municipal Council Chambers, City Hall 280 Grove Street, Second Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on a park development grant application to be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Urban Parks Program. This application is for improvements to McGovern Park located at 40 Sycamore Road in Jersey City, New Jersey, including reconstruction of the playground equipment, installation of green infrastructure best management practices, and other miscellaneous improvements. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, an Environmental Impact Assessment, and a preliminary cost estimate can be found at: www.jerseycitynj.gov. (below)
The City Council members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate. To provide written comments on the proposed application, or to request a copy of the final application, please contact:
