HUDSON COUNTY CLERK E. JUNIOR MALDONADO ANNOUNCES NEW VOTE-BY-MAIL ENVELOPES

Hudson County, NJ- As part of Hudson County Clerk E. Junior Maldonado’s commitment to increasing voter engagement and election transparency County Clerk Maldonado has had the Hudson County Vote-By-Mail Envelopes redesigned. The new Vote-By-Mail Envelopes will be utilized during the 2023 Election Cycles.

Vote-By-Mail has become more popular in recent years and to make the process easier for voters to differentiate between ballots, four new Vote-By-Mail Envelopes have been designed. The new design will feature a designated color stripe to clearly state which Election the envelope is for:

  • ORANGE: Annual School Board Elections in April, Special Elections, Runoff Elections
  • GREEN: May Non-Partisan Municipal Elections
  • BLUE: June Primary Election
  • MAROON: General Election
