The Division of Architecture oversees City owned Parks and Municipal Building construction projects. Project design, procurement, public bidding, construction documentation and project management of various City projects have included; Municipal Services Complex (LEED Platinum), New West District Police Precinct (LEED), Lafayette Pool Complex, Engine 22 Historic Façade Restoration, Hamilton Park Rehabilitation, Riverview Park as well as involvement with various Historic Sites such as the Van Wagenen House, informally known as The Apple Tree House, a National Historic Landmark located at 298 Academy Street in Jersey City, the Loew’s Theater and Reservoir 3 (adjacent to Pershing Field).
Other Architecture responsibilities include providing assistance to the Administrative and City Departmental Offices, Police and Fire facilities.
