Columbus Drive Safety Improvements

Scope of Work: The City completed a planning and design study in conjunction with NJDOT and a consultant team in November 2019 to address safety issues on Christopher Columbus Drive and produce design alternatives that improve safety, comfort, and access for pedestrians, cyclists and transit riders along this corridor. Columbus Drive will be restriped and to install protected bicycle lanes in each direction. Enhanced bus stops will be installed at Grove Street in each direction.
