Jersey City Residents Ages 15–24
City Youth Jobs offers Jersey City residents ages 15 to 24 part-time summer employment opportunities that provide meaningful, hands-on work experience while supporting essential community programs and services. Each year, more than a dozen city offices and agencies participate in the program.
Work experiences may include helping to plan and organize community festivals and events, responding to resident concerns, supporting children’s enrichment programs at local libraries, lifeguarding at community pools, or serving as a camp counselor at summer camp sites.
Through a variety of real-world projects, participants gain valuable skills, build confidence, and make a positive impact in their community.
