As part of his ongoing commitment to Jersey City residents, Mayor James Solomon has launched an initiative to strengthen transparency, responsiveness, and accountability by attending 100 community meetings across all six wards.

To date, the City has hosted 12 meetings, convening community leaders and hundreds of residents from across Jersey City to discuss the ongoing budget crisis and identify resident priorities.

Mayor Solomon will continue visiting neighborhoods across the city, meeting residents where they are and having open, direct conversations about the issues that matter most to the community. This effort is part of the administration’s broader goal of building strong, lasting relationships with neighborhood and black associations, as well as community and religious organizations throughout Jersey City.
