Jersey City Farmers Markets are a great way for farmers to provide fresh and local products to customers. Local products are more sustainable as they are fresher, lasts longer, and tastes better. To ensure equitable access to fresh produce, all markets are required by City ordinance to accept WIC, SNAP, EBT, Senior vouchers, and WIC vouchers.
We have the 2026 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) applications. This year each eligible senior will receive $40 to use at participating farmers markets around the state of New Jersey.
To receive vouchers from the Jersey City Division of Senior Citizen Affairs, applicants must be Jersey City residents, 60 years of age or older at the time of application and meet the income guidelines. The maximum annual income for a single senior is $29, 526 and for a married couple is $40, 034.
Households that receive CFSP, SNAP, SSI, or Medicaid benefits automatically qualify regardless of income.
